We as a family of churches in the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada think of ourselves as "people of the map." We have a deep and prayerful interest in all corners of the globe and all peoples of the world. As we look at the map, we identify peoples who have little or no opportunity to hear and see the Good News of Jesus Christ. We take steps to pray for them and seek the Lord as to how we can enter into what God already is doing among them.

It means that the Alliance has often looked into forgotten or ignored portions of our world. It means identifying those known as "least-reached" people groups. And it means often sending workers into difficult and resistant areas.   As part of the Alliance thrust into the 21st Century and with a view to hastening the return of our Lord and King, we have identified four areas of the world that are home to millions of these 'least-reached.' To identify these regions and make it easy to remember them in prayer, we have created the Four S Venture to underscore our desire to reach these peoples. The four "S"s are:

• Asian Spice
