OVERVIEW

 

• The Desert Sand region is seeking an English Teacher to teach conversational English in a Private English Centre and Reading Room.  Please inquire through “Next Steps” if interested in learning more.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

• As an English teacher, you will teach a class of 8 to 15 students twice a week for two hours, using the Oxford New Headways curriculum – complete with Teacher’s Guide and resource book. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

 

• Bachelor degree
• TESL training or certificate ideal
• Strong aptitude for teaching and relationship-building
• Language abilities in French and Arabic will be required (Language study provided for funded positions)
• Spirit of adventure and independence most welcome

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT

 

• Outside of the Centre and additional opportunities for teaching English you would have the privilege to participate in other strategic ministry as you live to bring the presence of Christ to all you meet.  Please inquire through “Next Steps” for additional information.
