OVERVIEW

The Desert Sand region is in need of a Nurse to work in a clinic located in a poorer segment of a North African community.  Primary responsibilities include outpatient consultations with an emphasis on diabetic education and treatment follow-up.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• As a Clinic Nurse, you will work 4-5 mornings at a Family Practice Clinic providing nursing care to the patient population using your training and experience in the following areas: Disease prevention, patient education, community health, chronic disease management, and treatment interventions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
• Current Nursing license
• At least 1 year experience in in-patient or out-patient nursing
• Working knowledge of French and Arabic will be required (Language study provided for funded positions)

WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT

• A collaborative team work environment.  In the clinic setting, you will work under the supervision of a qualified healthcare provider. Both on and off duty, you will live out your personal faith in Jesus while interacting with neighbors, clients, and co-workers.
