As the Canadian family of Christian and Missionary Alliance churches we seek to go to the least reached and least spiritually resourced people of the world. In Latin America this has meant that we have been shifting away from countries which, thankfully, have large growing national churches to places that definitely need our help. We have embarked on a new season of ministry called the Caribbean Sun Venture.
The Caribbean Sun ministry consists mainly of church planting and developing leaders in the mega cities of Mexico - Mexico City, Guadalajara, Tijuana; and Venezuela - Caracas. These cities have large populations, few Christians or churches, and few evangelical groups working here. It is estimated that 50-60 percent of the population of these cities is less than 20 years of age. We are committed to sharing God's love with this segment of society.
