The Word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood...
John's Gospel, 1:14 The Message
I was born on May 9th, 1987 and was adopted into a wonderful Christian family. When I was three months old, my family returned to the mission field where I was raised. After being evacuated at the age of four, my dad became associate pastor at Southview Alliance Church from the time I was five until I was seven. During this time, I accepted Jesus to be my Saviour, one Sunday afternoon following Sunday school.
When I was seven, my family returned to the Congo for another three years of ministry. During these three years, I was an active participant in AWANA (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) where I learned a lot about Jesus and committed a lot of scripture to memory.
When I was 10, my family was evacuated from Congo and we spent a year in Three Hills, Alberta where I attended the local public school and when I was going into the sixth grade my family moved to Bouake, Cote D’Ivoire, where I began to attend a conservative boarding school.
During this year, one night at our Sunday night worship service, I felt God lay it heavily on my heart that it was time for me to take the next step of obedience and to be baptized.
Later, as I began to look at where I would attend college, I also began to debate about what I wanted to do with my life. I graduated from Ambrose with a Behavioural Sciences degree.
I am now serving as a Missionary Apprentice in Niger.
