Chris & Angela, both from Christian homes first met at Caronport High School in SK but their life together began later at Briercrest Bible College.  They were married on August 8, 1998.  Chris & Angela took turns completing their educations.  Angela graduated with BAs in Counseling and Youth Ministry.  Chris graduated with an AA in Music and a BA in Worship Ministry. 

Chris & Angela found themselves in Summerland, BC where Chris began serving Summerland Alliance Church as Pastor for Worship and Youth Ministry.  Chris and Angela had discovered during their studies in college and simultaneous service as part-time worship ministers at East Side Church of God in Swift Current, SK that they loved to work and do ministry together.  It was during their 6 years serving Summerland Alliance Church that they grew into their roles and in their ministering partnership to become a powerful team.  Their team grew twice – Mackenzie born June 10, 2004 and Lukas born June 5, 2006.  Together with their two boys, Chris and Angela served their church family, sharing their music gifts and love of people with their church body and community, and leading a small ministry team to serve in Guatemala in 2008.

Now God has moved Chris and Angela and their boys towards international ministry in Latin America.  Their life experiences, gifts, skills gained, and desire to serve God as a whole family have brought them to a place where they are willing to serve God anywhere and in any way He calls them.  For now and the future, God desires for them to learn Spanish in Costa Rica for one full year and then serve Him in Caracas, Venezuela.  They have yet to discover what all the details will look like but they are choosing to be obedient in going, trusting Him to lead them.  They understand that until a team is ready to enter Caracas, they may spend some time in Mexico City joining in the ministry that Alliance Global Ministries has already undertaken.

As you support Chris, Angela, Mackenzie and Lukas, pray that the Truth of God will be always on their minds and hearts.   Pray for boldness as they live and speak the Gospel of Christ and most of all, that God’s glory would be their ultimate goal and prize.
