Rick Kilbrai

Rick Kilbrai grew up in Cranbrook, B.C., and gave his life to Christ when he was in his early teens. Within a few years, he felt God’s clear calling on his life towards cross-cultural ministry, specifically towards the people of Latin America. He also developed a huge passion for youth ministry.

Rick attended Canadian Bible College in Regina from 1989 to 1994, graduating with a Bachelor of Theology. Following graduation, he began youth ministry at Trailview Alliance Church in Swift Current, Sask. After spending six years in Swift Current, Rick returned to Canadian Theological Seminary (CTS) for Intercultural Studies. He then felt the Lord’s call on his life to spend another wonderful six years in youth ministry at Rockyview Alliance Church in Calgary, Alberta.

A couple of years ago, Rick had grown spiritually through working at the Mustard Seed Street Ministry. He had also volunteered as a youth pastor at El Encuentro Alliance Church in Calgary, and has done some worship leading and preaching.

Rick left for Mexico to minister as a Global Ministries Apprentice for two years from August 2008 to August 2010. He is now serving there continually as an International Worker.

Rick is married to Susan Hiebert.
