Ben and kari Elliott
Ben grew up in a Christian family and was baptized at Foothills Alliance Church in Calgary. He had a very tender heart towards matters of faith from a young age and remembers praying nightly for missionaries who were friends of the family. Ben was active in church throughout high school and grew spiritually. In 2001, he completed his BAR degree from CBC and had begun pastoral work in the U.S. in the United Methodist Church. Over the next several years, Ben completed his M.Div. in Mississippi and a PhD in Systematic Theology at Aberdeen University in Scotland.

Kari has been fortunate to have Christ as part her life always. Her parents would spend time reading the Bible and praying with her and her siblings from an early age, however it wasn’t until she was 11 years old that she understood her own sin and need for a Saviour. At 14 years, Kari was baptized .

Together, Ben and Kari seek to serve God to the best of their abilities. They will serve as international workers in Indonesia in Church Ministry, with their two young children Blaise and Flora.
