DIS is seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, caring professionals who are professing Christians. Candidates must have an understanding of Christian education and have the ability to integrate Biblical principles in their teaching. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be adept with technology and demonstrate flexibility in working in a cross-cultural environment. Candidates must be willing to incorporate cooperative learning strategies and ESL-sensitive instruction.Teachers are expected to have a bachelor’s degree or higher and be certified. Two or more years of experience are preferred.
Spiritual Life Director
DIS is looking for a candidate with spiritual vitality/depth and the ability to draw staff and students into a deeper relationship with Christ. The SLD is responsible to keep the spiritual life on campus a priority by managing the chapel program, semester emphasis weeks, small group ministries, school community worship, and in other capacities by addressing the dynamic spiritual needs of staff and students. DIS is seeking a special services teacher that will be responsible for providing accommodations for all students with special educational needs in the high school grades. Technology Specialist
Dalat is a leader in the integration of technology and needs a technology specialist for next year. The technology specialist will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading the campus computer systems and network. Previous experience with PowerSchool or other school administration software program, Windows Server, Exchange Server, database systems, and PC hardware are preferred. Grade 1 Teacher
DIS is looking for an energetic, nurturing teacher toinstruct our grade 1 students. The candidate needs to hold a valid teaching certificate, preferably in early childhood, have teaching experience, and anunderstanding/experience in planning and teaching thematic units. The candidate should also have a love for working with young, enthusiastic learners. HS/MS Health & ES PE Teacher
DIS is looking for enthusiastic health teacher that can work with students in all three divisions. Health classes are taught in the middle school and one high school health class in the high school. The HS health class is taught for one semester online so technology skills are needed for this position. A few times each week this teacher does work with some ES classes for their physical education classes. Residence Life Dorm Parents
DIS is looking for candidates that experience a specific call by God to the ministry of dorm parenting and possess spiritual maturity and a commitment to personal integrity. Dorm parents are expected to be nurturing, loving and passionate about discipling students. Candidates will need to demonstrate evidence of a healthy marriage relationship, proven parenting skills with the ability to raise children according to Biblical values, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Dorm parents must be hard-working and self-motivated, hospitable, and desire to live and minister cross-culturally. Residence Life / Dorm Assistant
DIS is looking for a residence assistant to support the dorm program and to be an integral part of the providing a family environment for our residence life students. The residence assistant works with the dorm parents and takes on numerous responsibilities to support the program. The residence life assistant lives on campus. Part Time Positions:
ES Computer Teacher
DIS is looking for a computer teacher to work with our elementary students in Kindergarten through grade 4. Each grade meets once a week where students are introduced to important technology skills and proper use of computers. Potential full time assignment if combined with other part time positions.
