OVERVIEW

This position monitors and controls factory staff, product quality and processes so that product is delivered on time, and of consistent quality to cafes and wholesale accounts.  Minimum 2 year commitment required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Production

• ensuring that the production is cost effective
• making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
• working out the human and material resources needed
• estimating costs
• improving hygiene standards
• monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
• maintenance of equipment and recommend improvements
• monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs
• liaising among different departments and customers and suppliers
• working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
• ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
• supervising and motivating a team of workers
• reviewing the performance of subordinates
• identifying training needs and staff skills improvements
• Oversee recruitment process
• Give research & development support to directors
• Give advice and support to Inventory and Purchasing department as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Professional qualifications or commercial food service experience
• Management, leadership and organizational skills
• Good computer skills.
• Being self motivated, creative, honest and reliable.
• Fluency in English (if English is second language)
